Check-in & arrival

Check-in & arrival

Self check-in from 4 pm – arriving late at night is no problem. We'll send you the access details (code & Wi-Fi) personally on the day of arrival, as soon as cleaning is finished.

Please complete the online check-in under My bookings beforehand (arrival time, guests) – we also need it for the legally required guest registration.

  • Arriving early? You can usually drop off your luggage from around 10:15 am, once the previous guests have left.
  • Early check-in or late check-out: possible if there's no changeover that day (€100) – just ask.
  • Prefer a personal welcome? Let us know and someone from the team will show you around (about 5 minutes).

  • Put the used bed linen and towels in a pile in the living room.
  • Load and start the dishwasher.
  • Take the rubbish to the bins, deposit bottles in a bag next to them.
  • Close windows and doors, switch off A/C and lights, close the parasols.

House rules

House rules
  • If you open it, close it; if you turn it on, turn it off; if something breaks, let us know so we can fix it for the next guests.
  • No loud music or loud conversations outside after 10 pm – to keep the peace with the neighbours. Indoors with doors closed is fine.
  • Smoking (including vaping) only outside, never inside the villa – sensors detect smoke, and a special cleaning fee of €500 applies.
  • Dogs are very welcome (€79 per pet) – just not on sofas or beds. Whether dogs may join you in the pool depends on your villa (see below).
  • There are outdoor cameras facing the street / driveway – there are no cameras in the pool area.

Pool & hot tub

Pool & hot tub

Pool and hot tub are heated from late March to October, included in the price: pool approx. 27–29 °C, hot tub approx. 37 °C.

  • Please always cover the hot tub after use – otherwise it loses heat quickly.
  • Shower before swimming; apply sunscreen and oil afterwards.
  • No glass by the pool – plastic cups are provided. If glass, food, oil or alcohol gets into the water, the pool has to be drained and cleaned (€350).
  • Children only under supervision, babies with swim nappies; no diving.
  • Please don't change the technical settings or temperature yourself – just tell us and we'll take care of it.
  • In winter (November–March) the pool is switched off. On request we heat the hot tub if you cover the electricity costs (not at Just be Happy – there it's connected to the pool).

Our pool technician will pop by briefly during your stay – we'll let you know beforehand.

Rubbish & bottle deposit

Please take the rubbish to the bins regularly – no food scraps in the house overnight (or the ants will come).

How to separate is shown on the signs on the bins. Usual in Croatia: blue = paper, yellow = plastic and metal packaging, green = glass, grey/black = general waste.

Bottles and cans with the deposit logo ("Povratna naknada") can be returned at the supermarket (€0.10 each) – or just leave them in a bag next to the bins when you check out. Where the bins are is noted for your villa.
