We don't know Croatia from catalogues or short trips. We live here, we work here – and we spend our own free time in exactly the regions where our villas are. This local understanding shapes every recommendation, every selection and every bit of guest care.
Quality you can feel – because we did it all ourselves
We didn't buy our villas, we planned them ourselves: from buying the plot and the architecture down to the last socket by the bed. Julian and Igor planned them together – Igor, who is Croatian, bringing local know-how and contacts – and Julian's girlfriend furnished the houses, with a real feel for light, materials and the little things that make a house feel like home.
That's why every bedroom has its own bathroom, there are beds we like sleeping in ourselves, a kitchen where you can really cook, and a table with room for everyone. We spend time in the houses ourselves – so we quickly notice when something is missing or could be better.
Many guests tell us it doesn't feel like a holiday flat but like a second home. That was exactly the idea.
